Internal or any 3rd party services such as site monitoring service tend to hit the site programmatically. They tend to fail some of the rule combinations which are used by ShieldSquare engine to flag the request as bots. Thus, they are listed in the bad bot list. You can whitelist such services (that you use for your site optimization etc) from the portal using the whitelist option.
