ShieldSquare admin portal has a Traffic trend widget 'Total Traffic vs Bad bot Traffic' on Traffic Summary page which will show a relative trend between Total (Overall) traffic of your site/App and Bad bot traffic.
The trend will be based on the selected time range at the top of the page. This may help you to correlate the spike in general/total traffic due to bad bot traffic which are visiting your site/app with malicious intent.
