ShieldSquare connector by default is configured to pick the IP from REMOTE_ADDR HTTP header. If your servers are behind a firewall or you have employed any CDN, execute the getParam file (available in integration kits for major tech. stacks such as PHP, ASP.NET) from the production server and map the appropriate HTTP header to the _ipaddress parameter in the ss2 config file.
